Teacher's Workshops
Where's the art in your curriculum?
The AGW offers a series of teacher's workshops based on current and upcoming exhibitions. These workshops offer interesting possibilities and innovative strategies for interdisciplinary learning in the arts, and opportunities for teachers to create lesson plans that relate to the AGW collection and special exhibitions. The workshops also allow teachers to network with colleagues from the Windsor and Essex County region.
The workshops include a tour of the exhibitions as well as a hands-on studio session and resource package with background information, lesson plans, vocabulary lists, and catalogue (or CD) of images if available. Refreshments and materials are provided.
Check back throughout the year for upcoming events. If you would like to be notified in advance, please contact Mary Anne or call 519-977-0013 ext 103 to make an arrangement.
